Another retreat has come and gone. What a great weekend! All three offices came together for a weekend in beautiful South Lake Tahoe. We played miniature golf, frisbee golf and poker; we even managed to have a few ThinkTank sessions on topics like "The State of VN 2010", as well as various collaborative session on how to make Vital Networks even better! Of course, it wouldn't be a Vital Networks get-together if something was damaged/broken; this time, it was a neighbor's windshield! If you've noticed that Vital News has been quiet for the past month or so, that's just because we've been preparing for the annual VN Summer Retreat! Yes, in just a few short days, all teams will converge on beautiful South Lake Tahoe for a weekend of information/educational sessions, mixed with some fun and relaxation! Most importantly: it’s where we will crown the 2010 Vital Networks Disc Golf Champions. All kidding aside, it’s the one time of the year when the entire VN crew gets together under one roof. As we ring in 2010, we close out 2009 with a quarterly meeting at our new Natomas office. Doug flew in from Boston, and the Bay Area team drove up to spend a day in Sacramento. After a morning meeting, we headed out to play laser tag in El Dorado Hills, and then regrouped in the evening (with significant others in attendance) for dinner at Chops Steakhouse. Despite the economy, Vital Networks finished strong in 2009 and even managed to increase our staff by approximately 30% over the previous year, while adding 25% more clients!... Read More
