Vital Networks serves a wide variety of organizations from virtually all industry sectors.  The majority of our clients have 10-250 employees and most rely heavily on computers for their daily operations.  Our broad industry focus gives us exposure to diverse range of IT environments and allows us to apply lessons learned from one client to all clients.

Startups

We have worked with dozens of startups to create a scalable IT infrastructure from scratch.  Without a legacy infrastructure to worry about, we can take advantage of the latest technologies (including thin clients and virtualization) to give startups a truly forward-looking technology strategy.  We provide complete project management from wiring your building, setting up the phone system, ordering servers and desktops, installing everything, and even training users on how to access the new features of the network. 

Small Offices

Our smaller clients tend to have smaller budgets, but they still need reliable IT systems that empower their employees to work as efficiently as possible.  Our roots are in serving small offices, so we have the experience to make recommendations appropriate for smaller offices.  We know how to make the most out of your budget — whatever the size. 

Medium-sized Offices

Our larger clients need dedicated resources to meet their complicated IT needs. We take the time to learn your business so we can truly function with the same inside knowledge as an internal IT department.  For clients that aren’t ready to fully outsource their IT department, we work closely with internal IT staff to augment their capabilities. We provide 24x7 monitoring, Tier-2 support, and as-needed assistance with complicated and/or important IT projects . Our monitoring infrastructure and "best practice" approach make us a valuable member of the IT department.

Non-Profit Organizations

We work with dozens of non-profit organizations so we know how they differ from our for-profit clients.  Non-profits are driven to reduce overheard and put as much of their budget towards programming as possible.  We work with organizations like TechSoup to acquire software at a deep discount, and we take advantage of open source software wherever possible to keep costs down.  We also offer a 15% discount on our services for non-profits because we believe in what they do and we enjoy partnering with them! 

Manufacturing

Vital Networks has several manufacturing clients with 24x7 operations.  Our experience with these clients has taught us valuable lessons about relentless process optimization.  We have deep experience with ERP systems such as SysPro, shipping systems, scanning equipment, and a wide range of technologies commonly found in the manufacturing sector. 

Mobile Work Forces

Most of our clients employ at least a few mobile workers.  Mobile workers present unique challenges that require special solutions.  We know how to provide data backups for remote laptops, secure and track lost/stolen laptops, set up mobile devices with full Exchange synchronization, and much more.  We provide remote control and monitoring of laptops no matter where in the world they are, and our emergency support  is available 24x7 so it doesn’t matter what time zone your employees contact us from.

Branch Offices

Branch offices often get the raw end of the deal when it comes to IT support.  Not so with our clients! We employ technologies such as site-to-site VPNs, WAN optimizers, and distributed files systems so branch offices have fast access to corporate data.  No matter where your branch offices are located; we can support them.  Our remote control software allows us to connect to remote computers within seconds.  If there is an issue that requires immediate on-site assistance we have developed partnerships with independent consultants that can be on-site in less than 2 hours anywhere in the United States. 

Legal / Professional Services / Insurance

A large number of our clients are in the legal, insurance, and professional services industries.  We have experience with the various programs that you need to run your business.   For example, insurance companies typically use AMS or TAM.  We know these programs inside-and-out.  The same applies for the common legal and professional services applications.  We also have experience with compliance issues including email archiving, data confidentiality and more.
